Applications Analyst - Oracle

Fort Wayne, IN (On-site)


Seeking a team-oriented individual to solve technical issues with IT applications and services in a time-sensitive environment. The role involves providing second-level IT support, resolving escalated tickets, and ensuring the performance of web and database applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an IT ambassador, building trust with business partners and end users.
  • Diagnose and triage escalated support calls.
  • Coordinate technical solutions across IT departments.
  • Communicate issue progress to users and stakeholders.
  • Document updates in call tracking software.
  • Research and utilize various technologies (list of specific technologies).
  • Prioritize and resolve tickets in line with service agreements.
  • Provide after-hours support through rotational on-call assignments.
  • Participate in response teams for high-impact events.
  • Collaborate with development teams and IT Business Analysts.
  • Conduct testing for development teams and projects.
  • Develop small projects and author Knowledge Base content.
  • Support monthly ticket reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment.


Attributes & Characteristics:

Required:

  • Degree in IT or related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with a range of technologies (ASP.NET, VB6, VB.NET, C#, HTML, IIS, JavaScript, jQuery, SSIS, SSRS, MS SQL, Access, Excel, SharePoint, Google Suite, FTP, Internet browsers, TCP/IP, Kafka, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and customer service minded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Cloud ERP systems, agile development environments, and team collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, firewalls, active directory, and automations.
