This role involves planning, analyzing, and implementing IT systems, consulting with business users to understand their requirements, and providing guidance to junior analysts.
- Consulting with internal customers to analyze operational processes and recommend technology solutions.
- Evaluating user requests for feasibility and compatibility with existing systems.
- Installing and testing hardware/software and coordinating program implementations.
- Monitoring systems and initiating corrective actions, ensuring accuracy and clarity of documentation.
- Resolving operational issues and providing user support and training.
- Enforcing technical and procedural standards, and participating in disaster recovery testing.
- Ongoing learning to enhance technical skills; performing other related tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or similar, with 2 years’ specific experience, or 6 years’ combined education, training, and experience.
- Experience in systems analysis, software development, or system configuration.
- Availability for 24/7 system support; valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in information systems analysis, SDLC, ITIL framework.
- Advanced skills in change management and client-based applications.
- Abilities in system design, priority setting, and advanced communication.
- Programming knowledge, especially in C# .net, ASP.net, VB6, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with CGI’s PragmaLine and PragmaCad or similar systems is a plus.
- Certification in one of the programming languages mentioned is preferred.
The role requires regular interaction with users from other work groups for information clarification, problem-solving, and technical assistance.
