Job Description

Summary:

The BI Analyst is responsible for leading and developing the Business Intelligence technology and ERP Integration for the company and ensuring that integration is properly maintained and works on the development and continual enhancements and utilization of BI Platform (Power BI). This is a hands-on role, where the person will be expected to develop and create dashboards.

  • Business analysis and development of Key BI dashboards across the business
  • Gather and translate business requirements with respect to the success of the business goal(s) and converts into a functional specification.
  • Documents business processes following system changes and inputs into the automation of test cases.
  • Provides accurate level of effort estimates, and delivers/manages/oversees task schedules
  • Develop BI dashboard and reports
  • Leverage of external third parties where required
  • Management and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI environments,
  • Work with Business Leaders to ensure ongoing enhancement to the BI capabilities
  • Provide a robust self service platform for BI across the business
  • Enable productivity through improved training and introduction of new capabilities to the organization
  • Provide ad-hoc and ongoing support for Senior staff

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible, relevant work experience in the areas of system planning, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance in a network-based computing environment
  • 4+ years experience in a modern BI platform, ideally Microsoft Power BI
  • 2+ years experience with reporting or integration with Microsoft Dynamics F&O
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ideally 4+ years with ERP experience
  • Proven experience of business analysis and process documentation
  • Have previously worked within a IT change environment
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Shares responsibility for out-of-hours applications support

Desirable:

  • Understand modern Data Architecture
  • Broad modular background/understanding of D365/AX
  • Working knowledge of SSIS & SSRS
  • Certification in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Functional Consultant Associate or Finance Functional Consultant Associate
