Job Description

JOB SUMMARY The Director leads and enhances the service supporting the transition of entities into the healthcare system, focusing on acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, lease arrangements, and internal growth. This role is crucial for ensuring successful transitions through extensive IT due diligence in mergers and acquisitions. The Director collaborates with key stakeholders, drives process improvement, and leverages strong knowledge of healthcare operations, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and management skills.


  • Lead and manage the team and service for transitioning entities.
  • Oversee and track transitions from pre- to post-transition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct extensive IT due diligence during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Continuously improve transition processes and tools.
  • Report operational updates to support planning and resource utilization.
  • Analyze and optimize current systems and workflows.
  • Manage multiple projects and lead a team.
  • Support the development of business strategies and objectives.
  • Communicate with senior leadership to set clear program expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop direct reports.
  • Supervise and motivate team members.
  • Promote associate development through counseling and role modeling.
  • May require travel and work outside normal hours during critical issues.



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, business, or related field.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Strong financial, healthcare systems, and ITIL knowledge.


  • 5+ years in IT leadership.
  • Extensive experience in IT due diligence with mergers and acquisitions.
  • 3+ years in implementation and optimization in multi-site environments, preferably with Epic.
  • Experience in ITIL support and delivery.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
