Financial Analyst

Our Shreveport based client is seeking a Financial Analyst. This Analyst will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing budgets and income statement forecasts. You will perform analysis of actual results at corporate and division levels. You will also provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance of a company.

Responsibilities:

●     Mapping and analyzing quantitative data.

●     Preparing management reports.

●     Managing cash-flow and daily financial issues.

●     Additional duties are required.

●     Organize and analyze budgets, income statement forecasts, and other financial data.

●     Develop financial models, benchmarking, and process analysis.

●     Provide business administration service to management and analysts.

●     Preparation of financial reports.

●     Reconcile transactions through comparison and correction of data.

●     Conduct market research analysis.

●     Identify trends and recommend actions to senior financial analysts.

●     Assist analysts in creating press releases, research, and analysis.

●     Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing results with forecasts.

●     Complete bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation.

●     Complete studies on past, future, and comparative business performance.

What you will bring:

●     Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration

●     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

●     Strong computer skills that include MS, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

●     Willing to learn and develop strong analytical skills, budget, and project management

●     Handle heavy responsibilities – overseeing the implementation of projects that require comprehensive scheduling & coordination

●     Detail oriented and high organization skills – the ability to develop, collect, formulate, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, estimates, project schedules and reports.
