IT Director - Tech Services

Location: Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex

Length: Full Time

Requirements: Candidates must have hospital experience and a Bachelor’s degree with six years of management experience; advanced degree is a plus.

Role: The Director of IT, Technology Services will oversee end-user technology equipment and services, including desktop/laptop support, IS Service desk, call center / PBX, and voice communication systems. The role involves ensuring high-quality customer service in a 24x7x365 environment, leading migration to new technologies, forecasting resource needs, and leveraging ITSM policies. The Director will also participate in projects, assess risks, implement countermeasures, and lead the design and development of new services.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in IT Operations Management, Service Delivery, and Project Management.
• Experience managing support in a multi-site environment and a large fleet (>5000) of end-user technology components.
• Knowledge of the healthcare environment and applications.
• Experience with VMWare, Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft technologies, and telephony equipment.
• ITIL Foundations Certification required; Intermediate Certifications and PMP preferred.
• Strong management, team-building, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Excel.
